ITINARARY 2
When you want to explore the wilds of the remote areas or the dense ones, the option is to board a jeep.
Why a Jeep? Well, it's the most secure way if you don't want to get scared when you hear the growl of a Lion or Tiger! More of all jeep is the best way to get the inside look of the forest and its topography.
Day 01.
UDAIPUR TO PUSHKAR (DIST-770Km)
UDAIPUR TO KUMBHALGARH. DIST. 85KM APROX.
After breakfast drive in 4x4 jeeps to kumbhalgarh. The terrain is at its best ,rivers flowing on the side of tracks dotted with lakes & lushgreen aravali mountains crossing few tribal villages reach kumbhalgarh. After lunch Explore the fort of kumbhalgrah built in 15th century . O/N Stay at HOTEL AODHI
Day 02.
KUMBHALGARH TO NARLAI. DIST.70KM APROX.
Starting in the morning after breakfast we cross the famous forest reserve of ARAVALIS. This is a thick forest jungle which houses Leopards, Sloth bears, Hyenas, Jackals, Antelopes etc. crossing slowly & stopping at the places of interest we reach the crocodile lake. Having coffee watching the crocodile basking in the sun. we start again to reach Ranakpur. After lunch visit the world famous Jain Temple with 1444 pillars. Reach narlai by evening . O/N NARLAI RAWLA .
Day 03.
NARLAI TO KORTA. DIST. 120KM APROX.
In the morning starting from narlai on off track watching people working on the fields
We drive slowly. In some of the tribal villages & crossing the picturesque area we connect village to village & reach the biggest source of water in the area called JAWAI DAM . lunch at Jawai dam. After lunch we start again, passing through small villages and driving along Arravali rage, we reach KORTA . O/N KORTA ESCAPE .
Day 04.
KORTA TO BHADRAJUN. DIST 80KM APROX.
Morning tour to sheperd village & opium ceremony & visit to village potter.our jeep tour again start trough mountain passes & plain lands. As we move the terrain changes to silky sandy tracks & small dunes. We stop in between for lunch & after lunch we move again to reach A fabulous castle of BHADRAJUN. O/N BHADRAJUN.
Day 05.
BHADRAJUN TO JODHPUR. DIST 95KM APROX
After tour to the village we again leave bhadrajun standing still against time to reach JODHPUR. By road lunch at JODHPUR &sight seeing tour to the Jodhpur ,fort mehrangarh ,escurtion in the city in a shoppers paradise . O/N BALSAMAND .
Day 06.
JODHPUR TO OSIAN. DIST 80KM APROX.
Leaving jodhpur after breakfast we visit Mandor(first capital of Marwar) cross the famous pilgrimage through small hamlets on the dunes in the desert we cross watching the harsh life of people of desert matching the vibrant colours of their dresses ,lunch enroot & carry on to OSIAN watching the wild life of the desert. O/N OSIAN. A small camp between the dunes.
Day 07.
OSIAN TO KHIMSAR. DIST 80KM. APROX.
After breakfast, we drive off through age-old tracks, once could only be used by camels and horses only. Passing semi desert terrain, small villages and hamlets of vishnois we reach our lunch spot. After lunch we head towards our destination KHIMSAR. O/N KHIMSAR(A small oasis set between the dunes).
Day 08.
KHIMSAR TO PUSHKAR. DIST. 220KM APROX.
After breakfast leaving khimsar we drive on the road for some time & then take to off road connecting village to village watching daily activities of the people . picnic lunch on a beautiful lake then carry on to pushkar . the holy city . O/N PUSHKAR RESORT
