Horse Ride

Health and safety:

We run fully equipped horse ride with backup jeeps. Comprising of first aider, medical kit, grooms, attendants, walky-talkies and radio, which follows the ride throughout. Also the escort is first aider and caries the first aid kit on horse back, and walky-talky to call on for immediate assistance. All the places where client's stays have medical facility close by and doctor on call is available if needed. Clients must follow the instructions of the escort all the time for safety reasons.

Insurance:

It is essential that you have full medical and holiday insurance. Horse riding is a risk sport and if you are injured or become ill, you don't want to be left stranded.

Medical

You should familiarize yourself with the precautions recommended by health authorities. Most medical experts will advise precautions against tetanus, hepatitis, typhoid and polio for travel to Asia. Malarial protection is strongly recommended if visiting India.

Safety when Riding

We recommend for your own safety that you wear a hard hat that meets current PAS and BSEN safety standards, and you should always take your own. It is important that your hat fits properly. Some riders choose to wear a style hat, such as Western or Baseball Cap. For which they are responsible for the consequences in case of an accident.

Whilst riding or in the vicinity of horses, you must comply with the instructions of your escort. It is a condition of your booking that you accept that the guide is entitled to require you to dismount or to refuse to allow you to ride if for any reason, such as ability, behavior or health, they consider that you may endanger the safety or welfare of the horses or any person.

There are inherent risks involved in horse riding. For all rides, you are required to sign a separate acknowledgement of this and acceptance of personal liability. If you are not allowed to ride because you refuse to sign this disclaimer or to wear a hard hat, you will have no claim against Kortaescape Safari/Kortaescape Equestrian Center, will not be entitled to any refund or compensation.

Liability:

Kortaescape Safaris/ Kortaescape Equestrian Center, Its servants & or agents are not responsible for damage, accident and or claim to person or persons &or property howsoever upon these rides or at all.

Riding Ability:

You should be comfortable at all paces, and fit enough to ride between 4 and 6 hours a day.

Weight Limit:

Maximum weight limit is 80kg. But on application to Kortaescape Safaris/Kortaescape Equestrian Center, weight limit is also determined by the rider's experience.

Length of Rides:

4 - 6 hours in the saddle. On moving days we enjoy delicious lunches prepared at shady picnic spots by our chef, followed by a well deserved siesta.

Size of the Rides:

Maximum of 14 guests.

Clothing List:

Clothing list will be sent on request, and with all confirmed bookings.

 

Children:

We will accept children over14 yrs old on our riding itineraries, but they must be competent riders. There are no discounts for children. Under 16 year must be accompanied. 16 year old or young adults can join the tour on their own.

 

Accommodation:

We comfort our guests in heritage properties (Forts, castles &Palaces converted in to hotels) and or provide fully equipped cottage tents (attached bath).
All the accommodation is based on twin sharing. If the guest does not want to share, single supplement tariff will apply.

 

Drinks:

No drinks are included in the price. Tipping to guides, wranglers or other staff is at your discretion, although usually expected. Camera fees, tips, and items of personal nature such as, laundry, drinks taken at hotel bars, telephone calls, etc. are also excluded.
